Jen Goya creates video art, experimental documentaries, and non-traditional DVDs. Many of her works are about Hawaii and the effects of tourism and commercialism. Her documentary works incorporate oral history interviews and involve experiimentation with narrative storytelling. Some of her videos are made for public access television where she utilizes it as a format for public art and collective viewing.
A Honolulu (Kalihi) native, Jen Goya currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
